New Audi RS4 Quattro advert: Spider - Video

It´s an Audi ad. It´s beautifully shot. The car looks stunning. It´s kind of eerie*, and you don´t really know what it´s on about. As I said, it´s An Audi ad. Audi drivers will love it, partly because the car looks stunning (as previously mentioned) but mostly because it will make them feel slightly superior. Even though they have no idea what it´s on about either.

*Ok, let´s be honest, this one´s actually terrifying, but I´m generalising to make a point here...

Now a days adverts are part of our sphere of consciousness, im sure you already feel that way – often irritatingly so. Think Smash, Guinness, budweiser and Levis. Then think Honda, BMW, Citroen and Volkswagen.

Creatives are finding more novel ways to dig into the parts of our minds that love cars, each time in a more expensive way (of spending manufacturer´s advertising budgets)


Golf GTI: Singing in the Rain

What an excelent piece of film. The great dancer Gene Kelly, bodypops his way through a scene we all remember, to a track that takes your head off.

It´s 60' you won´t forget so that you can watch Singin’ In The Rain all over again, whilst avoiding the standard familial bickering.

Oh, apparently there´s a car in it, but I wouldn´t worry about that too much.
